Vice President, Enrollment Management

Patti McCarthy is a seasoned higher education professional with a wealth of experience with educational institutions. During her nearly 30-year tenure at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she most recently served as Vice President for Enrollment Management, she led the university’s undergraduate and graduate admissions, financial aid, and enrollment partnerships, and was instrumental in creating a new Division of Marketing and Communications to rebrand the university. Patti served on the President’s cabinet, collaborating with stakeholders to develop strategic initiatives and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Prior to her role as Vice President, Patti served as the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management at IUP from 2012 to 2015, overseeing admissions, financial aid, career development, and scholarships. She also held positions as Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Management and Director of Financial Aid, managing significant financial aid budgets and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Earlier in her career, Patti was the Associate Director of Financial Aid at IUP, where she played a key role in quality assurance and long-range planning. She began her career in financial aid at La Roche University, where she managed various financial aid programs and provided extensive counseling to students and parents.

Patti’s extensive experience in enrollment management, financial aid, and strategic planning has made a significant impact on the institutions she has served, fostering student success and institutional growth. Patti McCarthy earned a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Educational Leadership and Administration from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
