Leadership

Liza Canchola is a dynamic leader who has been responsible for driving revenue and building high-performing teams for 20+ years in the higher education industry.  With progressive experience in leadership, sales, management, and communications, Liza spent more than twelve years with the Kaplan Higher Education system.  She served in roles of increasing responsibility including Campus President at Brightwood College in San Antonio, TX  where she was responsible for the leadership and management of the Campus budget, faculty, staff, enrollment, student satisfaction, and all operational departments.

Prior to joining Core Education, Liza spent seven years serving as vice president of enrollment management at Lumerit Education and senior roles at Pearson after its acquisition of Lumerit. Workplace belonging and building a culture for teams is something Liza is passionate about and makes a priority as a leader at Core. Liza graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Texas at Austin.
