Alex has a deep background in strategic finance and corporate development. Prior to joining Core Education, Alex served as senior principal at Newport Advisory Partners where he ran complex financial modeling scenarios for M&A and business transformation transactions, especially related to higher education. 

Previously, Alex served in multiple strategic finance and analytic leadership roles including Vice President of Corporate Development at Ardeo Education Solutions, and Senior Economist at Coherent Economics, a national consulting firm specializing in financial and economic analysis.

Alex received a BA in Economics and Statistics from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
