Senior Vice President, Academic Innovation & Pathways

Mika is an experienced academic leader with a demonstrated history of success in higher education. She is skilled in higher education administration, educational technology, instructional design, student development, retention strategies, along with faculty support and development.
 
A former Provost and Executive Vice President of Academic Affairs at American International College and Rosemont College, Mika also spent ten years as Dean of Online and Professional Education at Champlain College where she was part of the launch and scaling the division to 2,000 students. At Champlain College, Mika was responsible for continuous academic quality improvement across 30+ Associate and Baccalaureate degrees, 31 certificates, and a graduate degree programs. She also managed three assistant deans, a program director, and over 100 full-time and adjunct faculty across 150+ courses a semester.
 
Mika holds an EdD in Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Vermont. She previously graduated from the University of Vermont with an MA in English and a BA in English and Philosophy.
