Daniel Behan is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sales, business development, and product marketing, particularly in the education, healthcare, and workforce development sectors. Before joining Core, he led sustainability and decarbonization efforts for universities and school systems at Siemens Smart Infrastructure. He also held key leadership roles at learning companies such as Nearpod, Pearson, Wolters-Kluwer, and Elsevier.

At Nearpod, as Director of Sales & Business Development, he was instrumental in expanding the company’s reach into new markets, developing effective go-to-market strategies, and managing complex procurement processes with enterprise clients. During his tenure at Pearson, he led a sales team that became the company’s top-performing unit, earning him the 2017 Sales VP of the Year award.

Daniel’s career reflects his strategic mindset and adaptability, having revitalized struggling product launches and built high-performing sales teams. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Georgia, and is nearing the completion of his Masters in Business Administration at Elizabethtown College.
